MUSIC DIRECTOR & CONDUCTOR JAGGED LITTLE PILL
RESIDENT MUSIC SUPERVISOR ACT of CONNECTICUT

Bryan Perri is the music director and conductor of JAGGED LITTLE PILL which garnered nine 2020 Tony nominations, as well as, Resident Music Supervisor at ACT of CT. He is also music supervisor for the Broadway bound production of ALMOST FAMOUS, which recently had its world premiere at San Diego’s Old Globe theater and garnered him a Craig Noel award for best music direction.

Other Broadway credits as music director include five years at WICKED and the new musical CHAPLIN for which he also provided dance and vocal arrangements. Bryan was also music director for the first national tour of NEXT TO NORMAL (starring Tony winner Alice Ripley). Off Broadway credits include SUPERHERO, DOGFIGHT and VANITIES all at 2nd Stage Theater. He was also music supervisor for Disney’s FREAKY FRIDAY premiering at the Signature Theater in D.C. as well as LIMELIGHT at the La Jolla Playhouse.



Bryan is also music director and arranger for Aaron Tveit as well as Lindsay Mendez and performs with them in venues across the country- including the American Songbook series at Lincoln Center and Webster Hall. He has also worked on numerous shows with his husband Daniel C Levine (artistic director of ACT) including BORN TO DANCE-created in association with Stephen Schwartz-and which is currently running on 4 ships in the Princess Cruiseline fleet.

Bryan is proud to be a founding member of ACT of CT and is honored to serve as ACT’s resident music supervisor. At ACT he has supervised MAMMA MIA, EVITA, WORKING, SPELLING BEE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and GODSPELL and has musically directed concerts of TOMMY, JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.

He also holds a BM from NYU in Vocal Performance as well as an MM from CCM in orchestral conducting and very much enjoys teaching music in all its forms to all ages, and especially through ACT’s Conservatory Program. Bryan firmly believes that theater matters and the arts are essential!
